What is the main difference between Oral Bible stories and audible Bible stories?
What is the main difference between Oral Bible stories and audible Bible stories?
Audible stories require written Scripture that can be read aloud and recorded. Less than 500 languages out of 6,000 languages have a written Bible. Audible stories work best with literate audiences or where Scripture is available.
The Oral Bible stories do not require written Scripture. Bible stories are recorded while being told naturally by indigenous storytellers that have learned the stories from trained Oral Bible teams. Oral Bible stories work best where Scripture does not yet exist or where the cultural learning style is oral.
