How will Oral Learners ever hear the gospel?
Partners must connect with well trained Oral Bible teams of nationals
that produce and use Oral Bibles to plant churches among the unreached.
An Oral Bible team is staffed by two national believers whose language and culture are close to that of the selected unreached people group. Each team is trained and hosted by StoryRunners or one of our partners. With training and consulting, each team will systematically select, translate, check, record and archive chronological Bible stories for placement in an Oral Bible. The unreached people group will finally hear the gospel in a way they can understand and then respond to it.
The production and distribution of an Oral Bible will establish a starting point from which many partners can join a collaborative, evangelistic effort. This effort will eventually include an expanded Oral Bible story set for discipleship and pastor training, compassion ministry, etc. The ultimate goal is an indigenously led church planting movement in every people group. A church planting movement occurs when churches are planting churches so that the increase goes from 2 churches to 4 to 8 to 16 to 32 and so on.
