These strategies are really just different ways of using
Story Bibles.
They all share an oral approach to ministry to reach people where they're at.
StoryRunners helps ignite national movements by teaching
Christains how to share the gospel and plant
churches more effectively using stories. Nationals then send their own
teams to unreached people groups within their country.
In some cultures, the gospel does not easily flow between genders,
and women need to hear the stories of Jesus from other women before they will
truly follow Jesus. Our women strategy often involves humanitarian aid or
micro business to meet practical needs.
Stories have the power to change worldview, even for those in
postmodern, communist, socialist, or otherwise godless societies.
WAV 21 brings the gospel alive to them in a relevant way.
Every segment of a society should have access to God’s word,
especially those living in stark poverty. Storying plus aid is
a powerful witness, and it does not require the poor to have any
technology, literacy or other special skills.
The Deaf are not very literate. However, they are very relational
and they love stories. This strategy seeks to plant churches
among the Deaf all over the world in the 121 distinct sign languages.
Once a story set is made, it can be distributed
on inexpensive players or cassette tape to spread the stories even faster.
After the first set of stories for evangelism and church planting are made,
the next phases involve media distribution and developing more stories for discipleship and training church leaders.
