Our Purpose

Making disciples of oral learners is at the heart of our vision. We desire to see lasting fruit and spiritual multiplication among all people groups.

Our Challenge

Despite the combined efforts of Scripture translation and many worldwide evangelism strategies over the centuries, we are still faced with the enormous task of reaching over 6,000 people groups. Apart from oral strategies, no materials exist for discipleship and spiritual multiplication for a large majority of these peoples.

Our Solution

After creation of a “starter kit” of stories for evangelism, initial follow-up and church planting in an unreached people group, we want to see the crafting of stories for discipleship, leadership development and even pastoral training. This will pave the way for the creation of additional strategies, including resources like song, dance and poetry. Where a starter-kit story set already exists, new projects may begin with the development of a set of stories for discipleship.

Strategy

Each initial strategy in a people group will include preparation for the development of additional resources and ongoing strategies to ensure indigenous, self-sustaining spiritual multiplication within that group.

Strategies for reaching a people group may include radio broadcasts and media products such as the JESUS film and God's Story . We expect that as people get to know the stories of God, some will want to learn to read. Literacy and a desire for a written translation of Scripture may be a natural outcome. II Timothy 3:16-17 "Every scripture is God-breathed and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience through training in righteousness so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well-fitted and thoroughly equipped for good work."

Ask for protection of the indigenous people who will continue the project until every person who speaks their language will have opportunity to hear the gospel.
Ask the Lord to sustain the multiplication of churches after the initial team leaves; that needed resources will be available for the continuation of the work.
Ask for a church to adopt and invest in these projects.
