Communications Coordinator

Description

StoryRunners has a unique and exciting stories to tell. The Communications Coordinator shares those stories internally and with partnership organizations, churches and the Christian public. The Coordinator informs people about who we are, how to get involved and about great things God is doing among unreached people groups.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and disseminate field stories and media that illustrate our work among unreached people groups
  • Educate Christians and donors about the needs that unreached people groups have and how best to reach them
  • Work with the Writer/Editor on joint projects
  • Handle public relations and media events
  • Coordinate Web content and media development
  • Run ad campaigns
  • All StoryRunners staff members
    • Will demonstrate a calling to bring the message of Jesus to unreached people groups and those with no access to God's Word
    • Will raise their own financial support unless otherwise noted (training provided) or they are volunteers
    • Will practice the art of learning and telling Bible stories

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in communications, journalism or visual media
  • Ability to manage print, Web, ad and video projects
  • Writing, proofreading and editing ability
  • Good people skills

Education

A four year degree is required to join Campus Crusade for Christ as a supported staff member. Communications, Journalism, English or a related field is preferred.

Travel

Some domestic and overseas travel may be required.
