Field Missionary

Description

Field Missionaries work directly with one unreached people group for two or three year assignments, usually on a Story Bible Team. They work and live as close as possible like the people they are trying to reach, learning their language and culture.

With a team mate, the Field Missionary will work with indigenous language helpers to create the beginning of a Story Bible. Listening groups are formed that listen to and discuss the stories. Field Missionaries encourage people to follow Jesus and help the believers form their own churches.

This position is open to full-time staff members, interns and people joining a Campus Crusade for Christ STINT program. Training is provided every step of the way. More experienced applicants may become a Story Bible Trainer.
