Description

The Grant Proposal Writer advocates for unreached people groups by helping to raise the funds needed to reach them. Proposals are mostly for Christian foundations. New Grant Proposal Writers receive training under an experienced Development Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Write Grant Proposals to meet the needs of StoryRunners and Foundations
• Continually learn about existing and planned StoryRunners projects and the distinctives of each foundation
• All StoryRunners staff members
  • Will demonstrate a calling to bring the message of Jesus to unreached people groups and those with no access to God's Word
  • Will raise their own financial support unless otherwise noted (training provided) or they are volunteers
  • Will practice the art of learning and telling Bible stories

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills in a style that is
  • authentic
  • authoritative
  • compelling
  • compassionate
• This position is more project-oriented than people-oriented
• Able to summarize and identify information that is important to foundations

Education

A four year degree is required to join Campus Crusade for Christ as a supported staff member. Communications, Journalism, English or a related field is preferred. Volunteers have no education requirements.
