Strategies
These strategies are really just different ways of using Story Bibles. They all share an oral approach to ministry to reach people where they are.
-
National Movements
StoryRunners helps ignite national movements by teaching Christians how to share the gospel and plant churches more effectively using stories. Nationals then send their own teams to unreached people groups within their country.
-
Women
In some cultures, the gospel does not easily flow between genders, and women need to hear the stories of Jesus from other women before they will truly follow Jesus. Our women strategy often involves humanitarian aid or micro business to meet practical needs.
-
WAV 21 Postmodern
Stories have the power to change worldview, even for those in postmodern, communist, socialist, or otherwise godless societies. WAV 21 brings the gospel alive to them in a relevant way.
-
Humanitarian Aid
Every segment of a society should have access to God’s word, especially those living in stark poverty. Storying plus aid is a powerful witness, and it does not require the poor to have any technology, literacy or other special skills.
-
StoryOne Deaf Mission
The Deaf are not very literate. However, they are very relational and they love stories. This strategy seeks to plant churches among the Deaf all over the world in the 121 distinct sign languages.
-
Media Distribution
Once a story set is made, it can be distributed on inexpensive players or cassette tape to spread the stories even faster.
-
Next Phases
After the first set of stories for evangelism and church planting are made, the next phases involve media distribution and developing more stories for discipleship and training church leaders.
-
Java Club
Java Club helps you start a storying movement in your local community. Anyone can learn to tell Bible stories! Along the way, you will learn more about unreached people groups and how to help them from your own home.
